Manga Bento will be offically present at the upcoming Free Sunday event at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and we need members to come out and help!

Sunday, June 21st, we're meeting at the front of the museum at 10:00 AM, the event will last from 11 to 5. We should allow around 30 minutes or more for clean up afterwards.

The coordinator said he's going to give us two 8ft tables. I'm thinking at the most 6 or so people? Some proposed ideas for activities:

- Father's Day Cards Lineart designs done by Mangabento members for the kids to color, cut-out and paste on a sturdy cardstock for the actual card structure. We need designs for these cards, just keep to the theme of father's day and draw the picture in inked outlines like a coloring book as these will be xeroxed. Jenn, Yu-xian, Ryan, Brave? Just e-mail me some designs

- Cut and Paste Father's Day Cards Devin brought this up. A design of a father child with cut out clothes kids can paste on with different combinations.

- Thaumatropes Info here A simple animation device. The kids could color the designs, draw their own, etc.

- Iron Artist Competition A take off the Kawaii-Kon's Artists' Alley competition. We obviously need age divisions. We need to decide the exact format if we're going to do this. Art supplies as prizes? I would like to give everyone a "thanks for participating item." Something inexpensive, I was thinking erasers or pencils? Something artsy.

For the Mangabento display board it's alright if I use your guy's artwork for a section right?

This up coming meeting (the 14th) is when we can finalize all of these things... hopefully haha.
